We are saddened to share the news of the passing of Terry Delph. Terry was instrumental in bringing the 2014 and 2019 USATF Club Championships to Lehigh.
Through his vision and leadership, we hosted two record breaking and successful USATF Club Cross Country Championships.

Post-Race Party details:
For the many athletes who expressed interest in attending the Post-Race Party at the Best Western Lehigh Valley, the party runs from 7 to 10 PM.

It will feature a DJ, light hors d’oeuvres (it’s recommended attendees eat dinner beforehand*) and a cash bar.

*There is a Wegmans less than a half mile from the Hotel.

Post-Post Race Party:
The Best Western is home to The Bar With No Name nightclub. There’s a $5 cover charge and an ID is required for all guests.

Runners, Sharing some race day details:
-In addition to porta potties at the start/finish area, the Goodman Stadium restrooms will be open on the West side of the Stadium. This area offers a large protective overhang. See map.
-For those who want to shower after the race, Lehigh will open a set of small locker rooms in the Goodman Stadium House. Bring your own towels/toiletries.
-The heated Award Ceremony Tent will be located behind the Start/Finish line.
Approx. Award Ceremony times:
11:40 AM: Begin Master Men’s 60+ 8 km Ceremony
12:40 PM: Continue with Master Women’s Ceremony
1:40 PM: Continue with Master Men’s 40+ 10 km Ceremony

We are now less than a week until you will all be tearing it up here at Lehigh University for the 2019 USATF XC Club Nationals!! Here at Lehigh we cannot wait for this exciting event and we wanted to answer a few quick questions that we have been getting.

1. Should we wear spikes and what length should they be?
- Spikes will be highly recommended for this year’s event. The course is 99% grass and there is rain falling today and it is expected to rain tomorrow, Friday, and the day of the event Saturday. While our course does do a good job of draining, this much rain leading up to the event could lead to muddy and sloppy conditions especially with there being over 2,200 runners being on the course throughout the day. As for spike length, we would recommend them to be at the shortest 3/8 of an inch but what may give you a even more of a grip would be 1/2 inch spikes if you have them. (Official USATF Spikes rule: Spiked shoes may be worn. A maximum of 11 spikes per shoe are allowed. Spike length shall not exceed 25mm (approx. 1 inch).

2. Where should we put our tents?
- If your Club is bringing a tent for your team, we ask that you place them in front of the Goodman Football Stadium along the course which is just past the mile mark. The pictures attached show the area where they should be. Having all of the tents in that area makes for a fun atmosphere as well when all of the athletes run through the city of tents with everybody cheering them on.

3. Where to park and how far is it from the tent area?
- There will be volunteers and Lehigh event staff directing you to designated parking lots around Goodman Athletic Campus. Your walk to the tents for most vehicles can be as close at 400 meters to as far as a little less than a half mile.

In 2014 we had 1,930 entries.
