JRA Day JRACraft Day is an annual one day craft exhibition show and sale, held every December. More details on the show at http://www.jracraftday.org. to 5:00 p.m.

JRA Day is a one-day showcase for artists who are members of the James Renwick Alliance. This exhibit will give members of the public a special opportunity to see and purchase work by artists in many media. The show will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2013, from 11:00 a.m. at the Woman's Club of Chevy Chase, in Chevy Chase, Maryland.

The 18th Annual JRACraft Day was fantastic, and we are so grateful.

First, and most important, we are grateful to the artists who make the show possible, and who keep delighting and astounding us with better and better work every year. You make the show exciting and fun and we can't wait to see what you'll show us next.

Next, we thank all the volunteers and the JRACraft staff who keep the show running like clockwork every year. We're also grateful to our sponsors, who make free admission possible, and who supported the show in record numbers this year.

Finally, we're grateful for everyone who came to the show - nearly 600 of you, smashing our previous high attendance. We hope you were as delighted and astounded as we were.

Today’s JRACraft Day artist of the day is ceramist Laurel Lukaszewski. She is primarily known for ceramic installations and pottery that draw on patterns and rhythms found in nature and her study of and work with Japan over the past three decades. Her work has been reviewed in The Washington Post, Home & Design, and American Craft Magazine. She is one of 8 ceramists and 44 artists in all who will be showing their work at the 18th annual JRACraft Day, Saturday, December 6 at the Woman’s Club of Chevy Chase.
