The Gogebic County Fair

Gogebic County will accept bids on the following work that will be done on the multi-purpose building located at the Gogebic County Fairgrounds. Work will include the following:

Remove existing metal roof on the Southside Lean-Tos. Repair/replace any damaged purlins under the metal roof with matching framing material. Install 5/8" T&G OSB on top of the purlins and existing trusses. Install 90 # felt paper to properly cover the sheathing. Install metal, replace any panels that are damaged and match existing color and current profile. All work needs to be done to all Building Codes and Common practices.

Bids will be received until 3:45 PM on Wednesday, July 8, 2026. Bids will be opened at 4:00 PM at the Capital Improvement/Economic Development meeting. All work will need to be completed by October 1, 2026.

3 of the many rides that will be at the Gogebic County Fair this year! My tummy is already doing somersaults!
The rides are going to be awesome! $20 a day for gate admission and unlimited rides, or a weekend pass for $60.
If you are not a ride person-it’s just $5 a day gate admission!!

We will again be offering camping at the Gogebic County Fair. The only thing provided is electricity. You can bring your campers on Monday (August 3rd) but they must be removed by Tuesday, August 11th. The cost will be $100, and will be on a first come basis. Reservations will not be accepted until July 5th. You can pay by sending a check via snail mail-Gogebic County Fair-PO Box 22-Bessemer, MI 49911, or you can send it via Venmo. Reservations will not be solidified until payment is received.
Again, reservations will not be accepted prior to July 5th.
There are a limited number of spots available.

If you are planning on advertising in our Gogebic County Fair premium book this year-the absolute rock bottom deadline is noon on Monday June 8th-absolutely no exceptions!
You can use snail mail, Venmo, or drop it off

IRONWOOD – Spectrum Carnival will bring 16 rides to this years Gogebic County Fair the most the Fair has seen in years. Rides will including an extreme swing, sky drop, and Eurowheel Ferris wheel.
All rides passed state inspection with no issues, and admission will be $5 without rides or $20 with ride access. The fair board also approved a $200 summer practice fee for the Stateline Drill Team and confirmed the group will perform again this year. Additional updates included fairground infrastructure improvements, online payment options, and a June 8 deadline for fair advertising and vendor applications.
