We had a fun time last week making Nature Pizza and easy peasy bird feeders with cheerios and cranberries. Our nature pizza ingredients got mixed together and stirred up to make Nature Soup!
We learned all about different nuts and berries that we found in the park too.
After reading a couple of stories about nature we got to see lots of doggies come to the park to play ❤️

In keeping with Today's theme, while visiting with our very own Magnolia's Roaming Retreat, we had the opportunity to meet the owner and entrepreneur that is bringing Tidy Seats PA to our area.

Now, being an old dad myself, I remember the 2 month french fries and chocolate milk spills in the boys car seats. Well, now, you don't need to break out the pressure washer to keep these things clean. Let Tidy Seats take care of this for you!

Ahhh, nature refreshes the soul!

Today our event was Nature Soup. We read three stories that the girls giggled over the whole time. They learned that acorns come from oak trees and to never trust a fish! 🙂

Then we made our nature snack with a little imagination added in.
Veggie straws=sticks
Peanuts=acorns
Chocolate chips=pebbles
Mini marshmallows= fluffy clouds
They all took turns adding ingredients and stirring!

We tried to make our Nature Soup out in the Pavillion but someone invited the 🦟 so out on the pavement in the sun we went. A big kuddos to Brittany for having bug spray in the car!
Our soup had tree bark, sticks, stones, acorns, leaves, pine cones and a little pine for seasoning. Oh...and a WHOLE LOT OF WATER!

We played on the playground for a bit and then made our Fall farm sticker picture and enjoyed a chocolate coin because chocolate goes well with everything!

Another nature inspired event next wednesday. Check out the flyer at the end of this post! Age range is only suggested. Everyone is welcome!
