:::: A Very Special Guest at The Church ::::
Sunday, August 14th, 6 - 9pm

Today marks the eve of my journey through the South West with The Blood Tales. Tomorrow I'll hit the road, with 8 shows in 4 states.

It's been a beautiful weaving of threads, that in the last few months have resulted in the production of this tour. I almost love the self production as much as I love the performance.

In the last few days, I was broken open by the anniversary of the death of my Dad, 14 years ago, reading Eve Ensler's autobiography and once again being reminded of what's happening to the women in Congo, and all over the world. My heart has been shattered into pieces, once again.

It feels so right to be offering this show as a give-a-way. I feel the absolute surrender to the unknown, the out breath of trust in the Mystery. I have no idea if anyone is going to show up to the performances, or if I'll make any substantial contribution to send to our sisters in Iraq, but I'm going to do it anyway.

The Blood isn't such a popular topic. It makes people uncomfortable. It makes me curious to see, as none of us would be here on this planet if it wasn't for the Blood. Why isn't it celebrated as the life giving essence that it is?

We've got a long way to go, to turn this crazy ship around. To live what's ours to live. We're not meant to live like this, at war with each other. It's not our original blue print. We've lost our way.

It's my prayer that we can find our way back. I believe the Blood holds a piece of the Remembering. See you out there folks....
