The East Bay Alternative Book and Zine Fest (EBABZ) rolls back every December, with more vendors than ever before! Workshops and panel discussions run throughout the day celebrating the minds and hands of the multifaceted talents that reside in the East Bay. Through the efforts of Tomas Moniz (of the radical parenting zine "Rad Dad") and the Oakland based Rock Paper Scissors Collective (also a zine library/gallery/hand-made boutique/skillshare venue), EBABZ caps off the Bay Area's "zine season" for an accessible, affordable means of reading into the people around us. Free, all ages, wheelchair accessible! One day only, so get over here!

woo!! come thru and collage / stamp / cut up a storm of zines with us THIS SATURDAY 8/22 from 7-10pm. two pitchers & lovely’s have plenty of food and drink options and are hosting us in 📍the garage space.

bring a yourself, a friend, and an appetite for gettin’ crafty, whether you’re a seasoned zinester or just dippin’ a toe into diy books. hope to see you there!

𝙎𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙙𝙖𝙩𝙚! ✂️ The 17th Annual EBABZ Fest will return on 12/12/26 and in the meantime, you can catch us at 🌈Bay Area Q***r Zine Fest✨ and SF Zine Fest in September! Keep your eyes peeled for monthly events (picnic? riso workshop? block printing?!) and our applications that open later this fall. 🎨
