ARWC 2026 Team Profile #1 400team ALTORE

December 2024, Ecuador. After 15 years of chasing the ultimate dream, 400Team was crowned Adventure Racing World Champions! 🏆

Founded on a shared passion for total commitment by Sandrine Béranger and Sébastien Raichon, this squad has built a legendary synergy. From Sandrine’s massive experience to Adrien hermet’s flawless navigation and Benjamin Fayet’s metronomic power, they redefine human limits. 🏔️

Leading them, captain Sebastien Raichon masterfully transforms pain into raw energy. ⚡️

From a grueling 3rd place in La Réunion to a broken packraft in Ecuador, they proved that victory isn’t about the strongest individual, but about standing together in the storm. 🤝

Now, the 2024 world champions are heading to Corsica for ARWC 2026. On this island of sheer verticality, they are no longer just contenders, they are the masters of the discipline. 🎖️

Altore support this relentless pursuit of excellence and follow the determined foursome at every step towards the summit.

At the end of The MAGNIficent this past February, we asked the racers to aptly describe their experience.

Here's what they said ❤️.

I wonder what they would say now???

We still have spots open for our race at the end of this year in December!

The new weapon for Corsica 2026 ! ⚒️

When we told Eric Colcombet (the brain behind JAWS Packraft) that ARWC 2026 was heading to Corsica, he locked himself in his workshop with a single obsession: building the ultimate weapon for Pascal Bahuaud’s course. 🗺️

Say hello to the Raid 350. Tougher, lighter, and ready for anything. 💥

Team FMR was handed the first prototype. Verdict? They pushed it to its limits and gave it a massive thumbs up. 💪

Adventure racing is never black and white.

It’s tired bodies and minds, changing weather, highs, lows, and long stretches of uncertainty. But somehow... the moments that shape you most are always crystal clear and come later on— the grit, the teamwork, the getting lost then found again, and the decision to keep moving on when quitting would’ve been easier.

What a beautiful sport this is- to be able to immerse yourself for long stretches of time in both uncomfortability and awe- and then come out the otherside with a whole new story and perspective is such a gift.

Have you signed up yet for the MAGNIficent?

🌊🐊 This is Team Bones Adventure Racing during one of the trekking sections of the Malacara Race Amazonas Expedition Race.

During this trekking section of the race, teams had to cross several completely flooded areas deep inside the Amazon rainforest.

After visiting the section during the night and seeing countless lights reflecting on the water — mostly crocodile and snake eyes — race director Benito decided it would be safer to place a local resident’s boat there to help athletes cross the section 🌴🚣‍♂️

But some teams arrived at different times, stopped at different places or simply did not find the local boat… and decided to cross the flooded sections by walking and swimming on their own 😅🌧️

In the Amazon, sometimes the line between adventure racing and real expedition completely disapears.
