Party Like There’s No Mañana! 🎉

An amazing Retirement Celebration was held at TIrzah honoring Rick and Stacy Bostick. The event was come and go. Rick retired from Walmart Distribution in Security/Asset Protection after 18 years. Stacy retired from teaching at Sparta in Belton as a 2nd grade teacher in math and science after 27 years. Former Mayor Wayne Carpenter hired Stacy all those years ago, and he was the first guest to arrive. I was blessed to witness their reunion.

The venue looked very festive with a “Fiesta” theme. The colors of the celebration were orange, yellow, teal, rust, and cream.

There was a balloon backdrop and a painted sign to capture photos. Teal bud vases with spring flowers made pretty centerpieces. Sombreros and maracas added to the fun vibe.

Refreshments included taco meat, beans, Spanish rice, tortillas, chips, queso, salsa, guacamole, fruit, and cupcakes.

The Couple’s first adventure is to see WNBA Indiana Fever’s basketball game in Indiana against Atlanta Dream on Rick’s upcoming birthday. Their favorite player is Caitlyn Clark that they follow, and she will be playing against rival, Angel Reese. The Clark-Reese rivalry has captivated basketball fans since their epic college days and has continued into the WNBA. After this exciting game, the Couple will head to Montana to see Glacier National Park.

We wish this sweet family many blessings in the adventures ahead of them whether it is a fiesta or siesta!! ✨🧡✨

Emilyn Coleman celebrated her 2nd Birthday at Tirzah with a “Bad Two The Bone” theme with colors hot pink, black, and white. Emilyn even had her very own motorcycle. 💕🎂

Centerpieces were pink and black traffic cones and racing checkered flags. There was a welcome sign, a banner with streamers, a balloon backdrop, bounce house, a “Tattoo Parlor” with cute temporary tattoos, and fun party favors for guests to enjoy. ☠️🩷🖤

Refreshments included sub-sandwiches, chicken salad sandwiches, sandwich wraps, fruits, veggies, chips, Birthday cake, and cupcakes.

The Disciples of War Motorcycle Club made a special appearance!! The members are active military and veterans.

Emilyn’s mom left the sweetest Review which made my heart very happy … “Where do I start?! This woman and her family are so incredible! Our daughter had the best birthday party ever at there event!! They were so helpful in setting everything up, truly took so much stress off my shoulders. I will forever be grateful for their kindness!! If you’re looking to book a venue look no further THIS IS THE ONE!!” 🥰

Emilyn’s not just two. She’s too cute, too sweet, and too fun! Happy 2nd Birthday!! We hope all of her wishes come true. ✨💖✨

Happy National Gummy Bear Day! 🐻

Gummy bears (or gummi bears) are small, fruit-flavored gelatin candies shaped like bears, originating from Germany in the 1920’s. They were originally called “Dancing Bears.”

The term "gummi" is German, while "gummy" is the standard English spelling, but both are used interchangeably to describe these candies.

In the original Haribo Goldbear mix, the green bear is strawberry-flavored, not lime. 🍓🍋‍🟩

Happy Anniversary! ♥️

Erik James Barbera and Alison Renee Halley had a beautiful, intimate Wedding at Tirzah! Rain on a Wedding Day brings a lifetime of love, and it was a rainy day. The Couple met working together in Salado at a restaurant called The Shed.

The Wedding Ceremony was upstairs, and their Reception was downstairs. For their Ceremony, it was a small number of guests with just their immediate family and then additional family and friends joined in the celebration for the Reception with refreshments and dancing.

The Groom looked very handsome in a black tuxedo, and the Bride looked beautiful in her elegant champagne bridal gown accented with intricate ivory lace; the fit and flare dress had a gorgeous train which made a stunning silhouette. For the Reception, the Bride’s train transformed into a bustle.

The Bride’s grandfather had the honor of walking her down the aisle to meet her Groom. They walked in to an Instrumental version of the song, “Oceans … When oceans rise, my soul will rest in Your embrace. For I am Yours, and You are mine!”

Their Vows included … “As you stand here today, you bring with you the joys, the sorrows, the triumphs, and the challenges of your individual journeys. Today, you embark on a new chapter together, creating a home filled with love, laughter, and unwavering support.”

Everyone went downstairs after their nuptials, and the Couple had a private moment to themselves where they shared words from their hearts.

The colors of the event were deep purple and dusty pink. There was a gorgeous flower wall for capturing photos that the Couple made themselves. Guests took pictures with a Polaroid camera to attach to their Guest Book … Snap it, Stick it, Sign it! 📸

Refreshments consisted of grazing tables; the Groom and a couple of his buddies that work in the restaurant industry put together the charcuterie boards. There was pizza too. The Groom also made their Wedding Cake and cupcakes. The cake was almond and vanilla. The cupcakes were an assortment of strawberry, cookies and cream, and caramel. The Couple had His and Her signature cocktails that showcased their personalities through pairing “His” with Old Fashion Whiskey and "Hers" with Margarita.

The first song that was played at the Reception was Kiss by Prince and then Beautiful Things by Benson Boone. There was dancing throughout the night with colorful light sticks. There was a vintage yet blue tooth record player for the music. For their Wedding Exit, guests created a vibrant tunnel with the light sticks for a memorable send-off. However, the Couple did not leave after the send-off; just the guests.

The Couple planned not to have a First Dance but a Last Dance instead. The Couple never danced during the celebration as they were visiting with everyone and had a few moments to themselves. After the guests had left, and the venue was cleaned except for taking down their Flower Wall, the lights were dim, and they danced, just the two of them on the floor, very private, as they danced to “I Get To Love You” by Ruell. They were quietly whispering sweet nothings and shared kisses in this intimate and romantic moment.

The Couple headed to Austin the following day to enjoy the day together and postpone their Honeymoon a little bit to get their passports.

Kyla Carroll celebrated her 13th Birthday at Tirzah. The theme for the celebration was blue and white floral; blue is the Birthday Girl’s favorite color. Before guests arrived, there was a mini impromptu photo shoot with her balloon numbers 13. 💙🎂

Flowers of blue hydrangeas and white roses made lovely centerpieces. A gorgeous hand-painted birthday banner and a beautiful balloon backdrop created stunning backgrounds for photos. There was a Flower Bar where guests made bouquets to take with them, and guests also participated in a Selfie Scavenger Hunt.

Refreshments consisted of chicken nuggets, sandwiches, fruit, cheese, crackers, brownies, cupcakes, a Soda Bar, and more. For her birthday cake, the candles with numbers 13 were in fancy cupcakes.

After the celebration, the Birthday Girl’s mom said, “Everything was so nice and amazing. We really appreciate everything!” This makes my heart so happy!! 🥰

We wish this sweet girl a wonderful birthday, and we hope all of her wishes come true.✨💙✨
