Rockford Egg Show An annual show and sale featuring hand crafted art using real eggshells. A once a year show featuring artists and vendors from all over the nation.

Their art work is fashioned from real eggshells using a variety of techniques including "Fabrege" style eggs. Come meet the artists, view their beautiful, creations, and maybe purchase one for your collection, or purchase supplies from our vendors for your own creative works.

March 24th & 25th, 2018 - 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. @ Midway Village & Museum in Rockord, Illinois.
Admission to the show includes admission to the museum.

Las Sunday morning, August 27th, one of our Rockford Egg Show family members, Snow White, left us and returned to our Heavenly Father. She was a wonderful person with an infectious spirit, and a truly gifted artist. She will be missed by so many.

The show was a great success. I enjoyed see my extended family of eggery artists. They are all so talented. If you missed the show this year, you really missed seeing the eggs in all their splendor... the pictures just don't do them justice. Be sure to mark your calendars for March 25th and 26th of next year to come see these beautiful works of art in person.

It is with a heavy heart and great sorrow that I must post the passing of a dear member of our egging family, Clarice Panfil. She passed away this last Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at 93 years young. I met Clarice at my very first egg show. I was about 13 years old and was just amazed at what I was seeing. I wanted to take a momento home but didn't have much money. Clarice lowered the price of an egg so that I could afford it. Then as I was walking away, she came after me and gave me 3 prints and told me to make some eggs of my own. Her kindness and generosity has stayed with me all these years. Her life has so touched mine... one small act of kindness on her part was an enormous act of kindness on my part... and just look what I am doing now! Clarice will forever be held in my heart. My sympathies and prayers go out to her family. May they celebrate her life!
