I know that running a race is a potentially hazardous activity. I should not enter and walk or run unless I am medically able and properly trained. I agree to abide by any decision of a race official relative to my ability to safely complete the event. I assume all ricks associated with running or walking in this event, I am including, but not limited to, falls, contact with other participants, effect of the weather, traffic, street and sidewalk conditions, all such risks being known and acknowledged by me. Having read this wavier and knowing these facts and in consideration of your accepting my entry, I for myself, my heirs, administrators and assigns and anyone for whom I am entitled to act, waive, release from liability for all injuries suffered by me on the way to, the way from, and at Holy Comforter Lutheran Church. I will hold harmless Catherine’s House, S.O.C.K.S., Julie Seligman, Misty Koehler, City of Belmont, City of Belmont Police Department, event sponsors and volunteers working for those entities from all claims and liabilities of any kind arising out of or related to my participation in this event. I also give my permission for the free use of my name and pictures in any broadcast, telecast, any form of media. I understand that Turkey Day 5K #9 will not be cancelled for any reason.

You can stop by Surprise Me on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 between 10:00 am – 2:00 pm to pre-register. Event day register opens at 6:45 am – 8:15 am at Holy Comforter Lutheran Church in Belmont, NC.
