In all seriousness
I want to add you should not assume to know anyone's beliefs based off the below assumptions.
And this type of thing is exactly why I am doing what I'm doing , creating a space that is safe and welcoming to all, including those cast out and made feel unwelcome everywhere else!!
There have been many accusations and commentary circulating that attempt to label myself and my business as āsatanicā or āoccult.ā I want to address this directly, clearly, and professionally.
First and foremost, personal assumptions, interpretations of aesthetics, or individual beliefs about symbolism do not constitute facts. Art, design, and visual expression especially within alternative, gothic, or historical styles often draw from a wide range of cultural and historical influences. Interpreting these elements through a single lens and presenting that interpretation as truth is both inaccurate and irresponsible.
It is also important to acknowledge that many symbols and themes people hastily label as āoccultā or āpaganā have long and complex histories. Numerous elements commonly associated with Christianity and Catholicism from holidays and rituals to iconography have roots that predate the religion itself, drawing from earlier pagan traditions and cultural practices. This is not speculation; it is well-documented historical evolution. Symbolism has always been layered, adapted, and reinterpreted across time.
That said, regardless of personal beliefs mine or anyone elseās it is not the place of others to pass judgment, spread misinformation, or attempt to damage a business or reputation based on assumptions. Respect for differing perspectives goes both ways.
This business is built on professionalism, artistry, and respect for our clients and community. We welcome individuals from all backgrounds and belief systems, and we expect the same level of respect in return.
If you have questions, I encourage direct, respectful conversation rather than speculation or public accusations.
ā with much love
