Bellingham doesn't do boring walls. We have murals around every corner, which is why we're stoked to be offering our signature Bicycle Mural Tours again this summer during the festival. NEW THIS YEAR: walking tours too!

We heard your community feedback about wanting walking tours, so we're making it happen. Stay tuned later this month for more details and the link to register.

Want to hear about registration opening first? These tours do have the possibility of selling out. The best way to be in the know is to join our Paper Whale email list. Head to the bottom of the Noisy Waters website and enter your email.

Got a wall-sized idea?

Artist applications are now open for the 2026 Noisy Waters Mural Festival, August 14–16.

Every August, blank walls pop up along the Bellingham waterfront waiting for artists with something to say. Over three days, muralists transform these 8’×8’ panels into live works of art while the community watches the process unfold—and votes for their favorites.

The top three artists earn cash contracts to return the following year and paint large-scale murals across Bellingham.

If you’ve got a wall-sized idea, we want to see it.

⏳ Applications close April 16 at 5 PM PT
