Trails to Taps Relay

Trails to Taps Relay Teams of 4-8 participate in this 8-leg relay run; highlighting local breweries, trails and parks.

Trails to Taps Relay will take place on October 20th, 2019 in Bellingham, Washington!

- 10 stops at breweries and/or tap houses throughout Bellingham
- 30+ miles of trails, roads, and beaches with leg lengths between 1 mile and 6 miles
- 5 to 10 runners per team

Huge SHOUTOUT to our Title Sponsor Peoples Bank (WA) and all of our participating breweries and cideries, we couldn't do it without their support. We are already looking forward to next year!

Survey results so far, moving the costume contest an hour earlier BUT we also got the suggestion to move to a 10 am start time and doesn't that sound nice on a Sunday? Feel free to leave your thoughts in the comments below!

We are so grateful for our official videographer Luke! How he manages to be everywhere, seemingly at once, to capture the spirit of the relay is beyond us. Still in shock that we lucked out with the weather!

Thanks for joining us y'all and HUGE THANKS to Fairhaven Stones Throw Brewery, Wander Brewing, Aslan Depot, Lost Giants Cider Company, Stemma Brewing Co., Fountain Brewing, and Bellingham Cider Company for their participation this year and all that and more to Trackside Beer Garden - Kulshan Brewing Co. for hosting the After Party! The space was perfect and we are grateful to their team for all of their hard work to make our transition this year a seamless one.

All runners will get a newsletter by the end of the day with a link to our Flckr album and a survey question about the timing of the costume contest next year.

Our 2025 merch is hot of the presses, literally. While we have a large supply of the last two designs (the blue crop top and the 3/4 sleeve baseball tee) in sizes XS-2XL, all of the other shirts shown here are one offs! These shirts are tech material and as there is only one of each, they are exclusive! Sizes vary with each shirt but range from S-L.

If you see one you HAVE to have, c'mon down to packet pickup at Fairhaven Stones Throw Brewery tomorrow between 3:00 - 5:00 pm to nab it. All of our merch is under $20 and we'll have socks and hats as well. You can also purchase merch from 1:00 - 4:00 at the After Party at Trackside Beer Garden - Kulshan Brewing Co. Look for the Trails to Taps popup tent!

We have 70 teams signed up and majority of them are ready to run! We have about 75 folks who still need to complete registration and if that is you, we just sent you an email reminder.

CAPTAINS: check your teams and make sure all runners are signed up AND assigned. We can't wait to see you Sunday. Prepare for a "chance" of "light showers" even though we're crossing our fingers that it doesn't rain on our relay!

We've finally virtually arrived at the final leg of the relay and we can’t wait to see you all this Sunday!

This scenic route is packed with harbor and bay views as you make your way to Zuanich Point Park via the ASB trail. Head back the way you came, and after 4-miles you'll see the iconic Acid Ball, a sure sign you're almost at the finish line!

This is the first year the relay will finish at Trackside Beer Garden - Kulshan Brewing Co. and we owe their team so much for making our transition such a smooth one. Both the main and Sunset Bar will be serving up $5 pints from all eight of our participating breweries/cideries and best of all, no last call this year!

While the Sunset Bar will close at 4:00 when the official after party wraps up, $5 pints will still be available from the Main Bar until closing. Grab some food from their food truck Dog Days and celebrate your team’s accomplishment.
