Belleville Chili Cook-off The Annual Chili Cook-off, hosted by the Greater Belleville Chamber of Commerce is held in Downtown Belleville, IL on the second full weekend in October.

Hosted by the Greater Belleville Chamber of Commerce, the annual Chili Cook-off has featured the culinary creations of individuals, local organizations, and area businesses for more than 30 years! What started with just a few vendors on one block of East Main Street in downtown Belleville has now grown to more than 60 vendors and based on attendance, is now the largest festival in Belleville. Many

people attend the Chili Cook-off to enjoy the great chili, entertainment and other festivities, but most don’t realize that it’s the biggest fundraiser of the year for many non-profit organizations. Over half of the vendors participating at the Chili Cook-off each year are either a non-profit organization or a business raising money for a charity. 100% of the money you spend at each booth goes to that vendor. In addition to the money the vendors donate to their causes, the Greater Belleville Chamber of Commerce also donates 100% of the money collected from the People’s Choice Award. 100% of the donated proceeds go to the Community Interfaith Food Pantry in Belleville. We can't wait! Bundle up! It's going to be chili...

We wanted to give you one last chance to get your tickets for this Saturday. This is the sixth annual Movie Night with Santa sponsored by the Greater Belleville Area Chamber of Commerce. Right now, the weather looks perfect for this event. It might be a little cold but what can you expect in December?

We will have a special Pretzel wreath with cinnamon sugar and red sugar. Of course, we can also make you a regular pretzel with salt too.

Happy Friday, Chili lovers!

Remember those $1 bills you spent to vote on your favorite chili at this year's Belleville Chili Cook-off? One Hundred percent of those proceeds ($3000) have been donated to the Community Interfaith Food Pantry in Belleville. We want to thank you, our awesome community, for giving to this great cause!

As you can see, supply is down at the pantry, and their shelves could use a little love. Please donate! Donations are accepted now through November 14th at the Belleville Public Library, Main Branch, at 121 E. Washington Street during operating hours.

What a weekend, Belleville!
The 41st Annual Chili Cook-off was a spicy success—and we’re still smiling from all the fun, flavor, and fellowship! Mother Nature delivered perfect weather, and our volunteers brought the sunshine with their energy and heart.

A huge heap of thanks to our behind-the-scenes heroes: the Belleville Parks and Recreation, Maintenance, Streets, and Sanitation departments. You helped us set the stage and clean up with care—your teamwork truly made the dream work!

Thank you to Welcome to Belleville, IL, Mayor Jenny Gain Meyer, the Belleville Police Department, the Belleville Fire Department and MedStar Ambulance for their partnership and support in helping make the Chili Cook-off a safe, family-friendly event.

Special shoutout to Our Brothers' Keepers of Southern Illinois (Friday) and the Belleville-O’Fallon Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. (Saturday) for keeping the grounds looking great and those trash cans emptied all weekend long.

To the Chamber’s beloved Friends and Family—our legendary “Voluntold” crew—you showed up from start to finish with smiles, hustle, and heart. We couldn’t do it without you (and honestly, we wouldn’t want to)!

Cheers to the four fabulous bands who kept the good vibes rolling all weekend—their music was the heartbeat of the festival!
