The Belle Plaine and Lawton-Bronson Agriculture & FFA combined team placed first as part of the first annual Iowa State University Department of Food Science and Human Nutrition food science crash course today. Attention High School Students: Don't forget to sign up for the online Iowa Youth Leadership Academy webinars which begin Sunday, October 4. If you are interested in leadership and learning about electric cooperatives, make sure to attend. At the end of each live session, one lucky attendee will be selected at random to win a $500 scholarship. It's fruit sales season! Today starts our annual fruit, meat, cheese, and popcorn sale. FFA members will be selling from today through October 30.

As this is our main fundraiser, all proceeds are used to provide opportunities to our FFA members by paying for convention registrations, contest entries, and buying materials for community service events (ex. Easter eggs).
