Sweet Corn Fiesta

After last week’s Sweet Corn Fiesta, we had an abundance of hot dogs and corn left over. We were grateful for the opportunity to share that food with the Light House Cafe so they could provide meals to those in need. Our local Farm Bureau office is always proud to give back and support our community.

It’s incredibly rewarding to help ensure local families are cared for. If you ever have food supplies to donate, please consider reaching out to the Light House Cafe—they would truly appreciate your support.

We sorrowfully acknowledge the passing of a distinguished farmer, devoted family man, and cherished friend, Tommy Holt.

Tommy went home to be with the Lord on December 5, 2025 at the age of 80. Born in Donaldsonville, Georgia and raised in Pahokee Florida, Tommy spent his life building a legacy rooted in farming, family, and community. His innovative spirit, decades of leadership in agriculture, and long-standing partnerships in Florida and Georgia impacted countless lives. From his work with SM Jones, T Holt Farms to co-founding Twin H farms and Three Rivers Produce, Tommy’s passion for agriculture was unmatched.

He has been honored with many achievements throughout his life, including: South Florida Fair Hall of Fame in 2023, chairman of the agriculture committee from 2018 to 2022, farm family of the year in 2004, lifetime trustee of the South Florida Fair, and with over 60 years Membership in Farm Bureau.

Above all, Tommy loved his family. He is survived by his beloved wife Ann, his children, Karina, and Tommy Junior, six grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. His kindness, humility, and strong work ethic will live on through everyone who knew him.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, December 11, 2025 at 11 AM at the South Florida Fair Expo East building, 9067 Southern Blvd., West Palm Beach, FL.
