Celebrate Belen Country & Americana Music Festival This 1st Celebrate Belen downtown street festival, which is a benefit for Valencia County veterans, offers live music on two stages, art, food, wine & beer

This is a benefit for Valencia County Veterans and their families in cooperation with the Central Rio Grande Veteran's Organization. WHEN: Saturday, August 17th, 2013 11:00 am - 9:00 pm

WHERE: Downtown Belen on Becker St, between 2nd street and 5th Street,

There will be live music on two stages featuring the best local and regional acts (the stages and times are listed below), various contes

ts, NM artists and Vendors, a Farmer's Market and lots more!! There will be raffles to benefit Valancia County Veterans as well as information and outreach services for our veterans. Please, no coolers or dogs! This event is organized by the Celebrate Belen Team which includes the City of Belen, Belen Chamber of Commerce, Valencia County Hispano Chamber of Commerce, and local business and community organizations.

$20 General Admission at the Gate
$15 Military (with ID), Students, and Seniors

Felix Y Los Gatos. A kick-ass South Valley Burqueno Blues, Zydeco, Tex-Mex band that will knock your socks off and get you up dancing. Featuring Felix Peralta a.k.a Gato Malo on guitar and vocals, David Barclay Gomez on accordian and Noah Martinez on bass. They will be on the 5th Street Stage from 5:30 - 7:00 PM. Those Gatos are some real vatos.
