Under the direction of renowned keyboardist, conductor and composer Anthony Newman, Bedford Chamber Concerts draws from some of the most exciting musicians of the day, award winning artists who have performed with some of the finest orchestras and chamber ensembles in the country. Our “Trios” concert was enthusiastically received last night! BCC music director Tony Newman (left) welcomed violinist Renée Jolles (front center) and cellist Sophie Shao (right) for some Mozart and Beethoven sonatas played before a smiling crowd.

Our sold-out Holiday Gala this week was a singular treat, with both orchestral and choral music for Christmas. Special thanks to our guest violin soloist Lun Li, who graced us with music played on the historic “Samazeuilh” Stradivarius 1735 violin (pictured with the artist below), on generous loan from the Nippon Music Foundation.
