☃️Did you know that the CKCM has an AMAZING backstory? 🎅Shelley and I did not start this Market, we just took it over a few years ago from the incomparable Sarah Mayhew with All Good Things. SHE started this market at her family farm to give her kids and other creatives like them the chance to practice being young entrepreneurs. They had the chance to create something of their own and then sell it to family and friends on small business Saturday. In addition, Sarah had a vision to help the vendors see that they could help others in need, even as young as they were. She partnered with local organizations that benefitted children in our community and encouraged donations to benefit those organizations from both vendors and shoppers! While nothing compares to the beauty of the barn on Sarah's farm, we have kept many of the same ideals that she started with. We stick to youth under 18, hold the Market on small business Saturday, and partner with local organizations to help support work in our community. This year we are partnering with Anxious for Nothing and using their awesome facility again!
So today we take a moment to turn around and be thankful for the past and the awesome work that Sarah and her family put in to build the foundation of what we now call the 2026 Creative Kids Christmas Market. 🎄
TLDR: Sarah is awesome. "All Good Things Christmas Market" is now "Creative Kids Christmas Market." If you've got creative kids, sign up! If you want to support, come shop the Saturday after Thanksgiving!
Enjoy some pictures of our girls in the barn back in the day. ❄️
