Some of you have asked how to support the flower farm. It actually belongs to our daughter, but has grown to be too much for her to handle on her own. The entire family helps with daily tasks! She has her own page where she takes orders, but she also sets up at the Farmers Market on Saturdays from 8 am - noon!

Since its be brought to our attention that people don’t know much about us. I thought I would do a little intro.

The barn sits on a 280 acre working farm. We raise cattle, flowers, vegetables hay, and pumpkins and rent our crop ground out.

It was originally built for our daughter’s wedding after she asked to get married on the farm. The basement was dirt and held farm equipment for the first year of its life and Jeff would love for it to still be like that!!!! 🤪. We quickly realized after we built it that we needed to convert it into a rentable space because of the number of people that started asking about using it!

When you rent the barn for an event. You are renting the parking directly in front of the barn and the area immediately around the barn. Pictures can be taken around the farm with permission, but all guests are expected to stay to the east of the drive unless you have made previous arrangements to have your wedding in a different location on the farm.

Can you have the mini cows at your wedding? Absolutely, when previously arranged. We did move the fence away from the barn this spring to allow more room around the barn.

Can we provide flowers? We would love to provide flowers for your event, but from the Farm, Bedford, Indiana is a separate business owned by one of our daughters. You will need to contact her to order.
(We are working toward packaged deals once we are ready to advertise and actually try to rent the barn more. Right now, most of our rentals are people we personally know or know through friends.)

The picture is part of the flowers that were harvested just this morning for a wedding and some special orders! Our daughter’s “little flower business” produces hundreds to thousands of blooms daily and it isn’t even “full bloom” season yet! She grows florist quality flowers not just “backyard blooms” and has a commercial size high tunnel to help her have blooms from late February through late November. We are also converting the milk house into a greenhouse/ flower shop because she’s outgrown the space she was using. Her business just keeps “growing”! Too much excitement for one day here on the farm! We bought appliances for the kitchen, a fridge for the bridal suite AND the mini golf clubs for “Putt Putt in the Petals” came!!!!

Yes, I have the craziest ideas!!!!! I grew up going to Hillbilly Golf in Gatlinburg and I swore I would have a mini golf course someday!!!!!

Today is the day I convinced Jeff to start on it! I found a portable mini course to go buy and it was either go on a crazy long trip to buy it and pack it back to Bedford or build me one!

He started on the first four holes today! We are hoping to have them placed in the wildflower patch for the first Farmers Market on June 16th. It will be free to play when you visit the farm for events this summer!

My goal is to have at least nine holes! Fingers crossed we can get those done in 2026!
