Kristine Bendul first came to Jacob’s Pillow in 1988 as part of Boston Ballet’s summer program. Her career would go on to span ballet, Broadway, and ballroom, including performances in the Broadway productions of Movin’ Out and Cinderella, and groundbreaking work as part of the country’s first gender-neutral professional ballroom partnership.
Years later, her connection to the Pillow came full circle. In 2022, "Hustle at the Pillow," which Kristine wrote, was performed as part of the Festival.
After losing both of her parents, Kristine began thinking more intentionally about the future, and she wanted her plans to reflect what mattered most to and shaped her life.
That is why she chose to include Jacob's Pillow in her will.
