Ozark Mountain Soul 2024 🌻 - YEAR 3
There is so much that goes into cultivating a unique music festival experience. Each piece of the puzzle must fit just right yet be able to adapt quickly if needed. From the moment the event dates are selected to even a month after the event, each decision has to be made carefully and thoughtfully. This was Ozark Mountain Soul’s third year, and I have to say each year the music listening community, live artists, musicians, flow artists, and OMS staff have gathered to make each year to make OMS a unique experience. Grassroots beginnings are my favorite. Everyone involved is dedicated and in it to build something special and wholesome together. It is truly a beautiful thing.
This year, being on the grounds looked a lot different for me than previous years, but the OMS team showed up and did the damn thing! I have so much gratitude and love to send out to those who helped make OMS 2024 happen smoothly and successfully. Here it goes 🌻
Audio & Lights: Michael Brinson, Elijah Brinson, & Jason aka Hippi- Thank you for an incredible audio and light experience. You guys are the chillest yet hardest working dudes. Beautiful work!
Wrecking Crew: JAMO, Allen & Co. You guys knock it out every single time. From the very first OMS Jamo has ran a solid crew and helped show me the ropes on the grounds at The Farm. Thanks for all that you guys do to ensure everyone has what they need onsite and set up for success.
Hospitality: Charlotte, Anj & staff — You all rocked it this year! Thank you for creating and managing a hip space for our OMS an artists to relax, hang out, and enjoy tasty snacks & beverages! I have always wanted artists to feel appreciated and taken care of, and it’s our goal every year at OMS! We received incredible feedback from the local and national artists about our hospitality and that makes my heart so happy. Also big thanks to Teslie & Sara for helping in the preparation for hospitality team for success! Thank you, Hospo Team!
Media: Jason Balk, Anj, & photographers — Big shout out to Jason aka Festy Panda for coordinating an incredible media team! I am proud of you do, dude! Reliving the magic through you and your teams’ lenses is such a treat! Thanks for capturing everyone’s OMS memories! Anj - Thank you for keeping the posts flowing throughout the event! Cannot wait to check out the vid clips! Good job y’all!
Activities: Mary Howze, you straight up slay at organizing the coolest activities at a festival! Thank you for bringing a variety of fun to the OMS festival community!! It was a pleasure to have you join the OMS team! Also, big thanks to Tim with Sober Berries!
Vending: Thank you, Vendors! Mohini thank you for coordinating and selecting such cool vendors. Thanks for providing a good experience for our vendors! Loved the variety!
Trash/ Recycling - Zach & Jaz thank you for making sure the grounds were kept spotless! Thank you Chad for helping OMS become more sustainable!!
Live art: Thank you Shawn Maloney for overseeing the live art tent on site! Shout out to all of the live artists for sharing their amazing talent with us at OMS!
Gate staff & Parking - Thank you for guiding and taking care of the attendees throughout the weekend from check in to campsite and in between!
Merch/Volunteers: Thank you for an outstanding job, Volunteers! Thank you to Erica for organizing such a great crew of volunteers! Erica also ran the official festival merchandise tent and absolutely killed it! I have a lot of thanks to give to Erica actually! She offered to help with many elements of the festival prep work, and more when I didn’t know how to ask for help! Thank you, Erica!!!
Street team: THANK YOU! You help our grassroots festival community in such a big way! Thanks for spreading the word!
Emcee/ DJ: THANK YOU, Nazareth! You do such a great job at keeping the crowd hype and grooving all weekend long!

Bands - Thank you for coming to Ozark Mountain Soul!!! Thank you for sharing your talents with the world around you, and letting us all be a part of it. I am a fan of every band that performed. It is a delight to host you all! Everyone crushed it! Also, special thanks to The Mighty Pines for stepping in for me when I was out.
Open Mic/Songwriting Competition: Big thanks to Garrett Jones for running Open Mic and Songwriting Competition! Thank you to all the participants and judges! These two activities have been and always will be staple happenings at OMS. The vibes are completely wholesome and beautiful. Thanks for sharing your art and songs with us.

Mikey - This guy stepped it up on site while I was down. I am grateful for him and his effort to help wherever help was needed during the event! Usually he focuses on music and his performances at OMS, but this year he got a taste of the behind the scenes action! I am proud of him and grateful for his help! Thank you, Mikey!! I love you, BIG!
Hillberry Partners - Jon, Chris, & Sal! I am proud that you guys joined the OMS family this year! I appreciate y’all and feel lucky to work with such experienced individuals! I think we have a bright future ahead of us! Big love!
The Farm / Jon: This place is magic on earth! There is really no other place like it. For me, it’s where dreams really do come true, and I think most who have been to The Farm feel the same way. Thanks for always believing in me from the get go, Jon—even when I was just a young pup missing my shifts at the front gate and staying up all night at the campfire! You have supported OMS and have been a huge guide since the very beginning.. I am grateful to learn and work with one of the best in the business!
OMS Festival Fam: THANK YOU TO THE FANS! Our Ozark Mountain Soul family is growing and quickly. From the start of OMS, our attendees have brought extraordinary and homey vibes! OMS goers are in it for the music and the community and it shows every year! It’s no secret that grassroots festivals can be challenging to start up, but we are doing it because we have the best fans in the land. This was our biggest year yet! I hope you all had a memorable and soul-filling time at OMS this year! Thank you for your endless support and love for OMS and independent live music!
