“For 75 years, the Art Museum of Southeast Texas has been a place where the community can connect through creativity and culture. With free admission seven days a week, AMSET showcases inspiring exhibitions, hands-on educational programs, and events that make art accessible to everyone. BEAUMONT ART LEAGUE:
“The Beaumont Art League (BAL) was founded in 1943 by a group of local artists and has since become a vital part of the regional arts community. As a member-supported nonprofit organization, we are dedicated to promoting visual arts in Southeast Texas through a variety of programs, including monthly art exhibitions, juried competitions, workshops, classes, children's education, and studio sessions. Our spacious art galleries and classroom are located at 2675 Gulf Ave., Beaumont, TX, on the old Fairgrounds”

“Shawna Hunter is a local artist with a passion for transforming everyday spaces through color and creativity. She specializes in hand-painted furniture and unique wall decor that blends charm, texture, and personality. Each piece is thoroughly crafted to bring new life to old treasures and make every room feel one of a kind. You can find Shawna‘s work at her Studio, local markets, and Art events, where she shares her love of upcycled furniture and home design with the community.”

“The mission of the Downtown Beaumont Cultural Arts District is to promote the cultural and economic development of historic downtown Beaumont by serving as a State designated tourism destination, to act as a unified and structural vehicle to the implementation of art related activities, to provide aid to artists, both local and visiting, and to secure funding for artists, art events, and conservation efforts.”

We’re so excited to introduce our official Downtown Beaumont Art Crawl participants 🔥Each one will share a bit about who they are and what makes their space special ❤️‍🔥👏🏼

JAMES RAMBO:
“I’m a photographer and I’ve helped establish GITO Studios with my friend Jean-Pierre Billgren, who owns the building. He’s a painter. We have tenant rooms where artists can work and we are renovating other areas to host gallery shows. We also host a non profit that works with the homeless and animals of southeast Texas in one of the spaces. My hope is to have a space where creatives can visit and work, as well as a space to display art and unique items.”

CAMERON URESTI:
“Cameron Uresti is a multidisciplinary artist and graphic designer. Currently, his focus is on abstract art, illustration, and portraiture. He works full time at Lamar University as a graphic designer for the marketing department. He also provides freelance design services for local businesses and events. His inspirations include local plant and animal life, vintage ephemera, and the mundane aspects of life.”
