Today I’m taking a moment to celebrate two incredible men who have spent years creating opportunities, platforms, and stages for others to shine.

Congratulations to Sajsongs and Supa on advancing to the Semi-Final Round of Sheryl Underwood’s Great American Talent Search!

One representing music. 🎤
One representing comedy. 🎭

What makes this moment so special is that these two are known throughout Beaumont for supporting creatives, organizing events, opening doors, and providing platforms for others to showcase their gifts. Through initiatives like the Southeast Texas Visionary Awards, and The Comedy Show, Run at Pour 09, they have consistently poured into the dreams of others.

Now it’s their turn.

Today they step onto a national stage not just as organizers, mentors, and community leaders, but as artists pursuing their own dreams.

We are incredibly proud of both of you for having the courage to step out, take the spotlight, and show the world what the 409 has to offer.

🚨 IMPORTANT VENUE UPDATE – GREAT AMERICAN TALENT SEARCH SEMI-FINALS 🚨

We have an important update regarding tomorrow’s competition!

Due to an unexpected air conditioning issue at Panorama House, we have been notified that the facility will be unavailable for our event. While this was certainly unexpected, we’re excited to share that we have secured a fantastic backup location and the show WILL go on!

📍 NEW LOCATION:
Central School Auditorium
809 Kirby Street
Lake Charles, LA 70601

⏰ All scheduled times remain the same:
🚪 Doors Open: 5:00 PM
🎤 Show Begins: 6:00 PM

We ask all contestants, family members, friends, and supporters to please help spread the word and make sure everyone is aware of the venue change.

Don’t worry—we’ll have signage posted at Panorama House directing guests to the new location.

Join us as some of the region’s most talented performers compete for a spot in the Finals of the Sheryl Underwood Great American Talent Search! Admission is FREE, and everyone is invited to attend and support these incredible artists.

🎸 Beaumont's own Barbara Lynn is being inducted into the Blues Hall of Fame TONIGHT in Memphis. She wrote a number one hit, "You'll Lose a Good Thing," in 1962 and toured with some of the greats. Congrats to this Beaumont legend!
