🌿✨ **Black Moses Freedom Festival Community Interest Meeting** ✨🌿

June 2, 7pm on Zoom

To our beloved Community Members, Stakeholders, Vendors, Presenters, Artists, Organizers, Healers, Educators, and Freedom Builders—

Many of you have been asking about this year’s Black Moses Freedom Festival. We deeply appreciate your continued support, excitement, and commitment to this growing movement rooted in liberation, culture, healing, and collective power.

After thoughtful reflection and strategic planning, we are announcing that the 5th Annual Black Moses Freedom Festival will take place on June 4-6, 2027 instead of this year.

But this is not a pause in the movement.
This is preparation for something even deeper, stronger, and more impactful.

We are inviting YOU to join us for a Community Interest Meeting as we gather to:

🔸 Reflect on the work already accomplished
🔸 Share visions and ideas for the future of the festival
🔸 Build stronger partnerships and collaborations
🔸 Reconnect with past and current vendors, presenters, and supporters
🔸 Explore opportunities for community leadership and participation in 2027

This meeting is for everyone who believes in the importance of preserving freedom stories, uplifting Black and Indigenous voices, and creating spaces rooted in truth, healing, resistance, and joy.

🌊 Why June 2nd Matters 🌊

We intentionally gather in the spirit of June 2nd — the historic date in 1863 when Harriet Tubman, known by many as the “Black Moses,” led a Union military operation down the Combahee River in South Carolina and helped liberate more than 740 enslaved African and Indigenous people. It remains one of the most powerful acts of liberation led by a Black woman in U.S. history.

That spirit of freedom, strategy, courage, and collective liberation continues to guide this festival and our work together.

📣 If you’ve attended before, supported from afar, vended, presented, volunteered, or simply wanted to know more — this is your invitation to help shape what comes next.

Together, we are not just planning a festival.
We are cultivating legacy.
We are building community.
We are honoring freedom work.

Stay tuned for meeting details, location, and ways to get involved.

“There is no such thing as collective white victimization by blacks in America. There is no such thing as reverse racism in a society where the colonizer controls everything and has the upper hand in everything. Druski made fun of Erica Kirk, and whites were offended. Jake Paul intends to make fun of black people in general, which is a completely different situation. After being offended by Druski whites go back to a life of privilege that they exercise upon the backs of Blacks. If any Blacks are offended by Jake, we will return to a life of oppression under domination by the white privilege that Jake Paul enjoys. You cannot begin to compare the two realities. White people, as a group, can never be victimized by Blacks.” Ifatunde
