It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Ajay Verma, a cherished member of our Soulsational family. His time on earth has come to an end, but the joy and happiness he shared with so many will remain in our hearts forever.

Ajay has transitioned from his physical body to become a radiant spirit, filled with light and energy. We are immensely grateful for his unwavering support and dedication to the Soulsational Music & Wellness Festival. His contributions to our unique community will never be forgotten.

As we grieve his absence, we take comfort in knowing that his spirit will continue to shine brightly within us. We extend our deepest condolences to his family during this difficult time.

Ajay, may you rest in peace, touching lives beyond this world. Namaste.

Dear Soulsational Family and Community,

With a heavy heart, I must share some important news.

As I write this, I am filled with love and reflection. The Soulsational Festival has been an incredible journey for me—a vibrant tapestry woven from our shared commitment to health, happiness, and harmony. It has been a gathering place for families, a safe haven for exploration, and a platform to uplift small businesses. Each of you is deeply valued, and together we have created something truly unique, infused with genuine heart. I am immensely proud of what we’ve built over the past 15 years.

However, as time has passed, it has become evident that our small team has outgrown its capacity, and the original vision has expanded beyond our expectations. The festival has always represented more than just an event; it has been a movement—a circus of creativity and activity filled with art, music, and free events and workshops, all fueled by the love of our local Jersey Shore community. Despite dramatic increases in costs—tripling and even quadrupling—we have never raised our vendor prices or charged for tickets. I have dedicated countless all volunteer hours and personal resources to this passion project because I genuinely care about each participant’s experience and the growth of their small businesses. Orchestrating an event of this magnitude requires immense effort, and my heart has always been committed to serving your best interests. And this endeavor has involved sacrifices from many.

Now, I find myself at a crossroads. It is with both sadness and a sense of exciting possibility that I announce the decision to pause the Soulsational Festival for the 2025 season. This is a restorative pause, coming from a place of love—for myself and the potential that lies ahead. I want to take this time to heal, organize my life, nurture my garden, celebrate my family, and explore new passions and business opportunities and adventures, that have long awaited my attention.

This pause is not an end but a chance for growth and renewal. It offers an opportunity to reflect on our achievements and to reconsider the future of Soulsational. I am honored to have connected with so many like-minded individuals who share our collective intentions of honesty and integrity. Your support throughout this journey has meant the world to me. The value of Soulsational has been immeasurable, arising from a genuine place of goodness. And our goodness shined! While I process the sadness of this decision, I am also excited to see where this path of letting go will lead. I trust that a greater energy is guiding us.

Thank you for being a part of this incredible experience. Thank you for your loyalty. Thank you for your love. Together, we have created something beautiful and truly unique, and I look forward to the possibilities that lie ahead.

Thank you friends for being part of the soulsational success.

Dear friends -

I hope this letter finds you well. I want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude for the incredible day we had at the Soulsational Festival. As I write this, I am still in the process of closing up the festival and cleaning up the fields; and cleaning unpacking everything in the storage. Soulsational has an amazing mission, and I see the positive impact we make collectively all the time.

As I always do every year, I want to begin by acknowledging any mishaps and taking responsibility for them. We are human, and despite the challenges and setbacks we may have encountered, we once again came together as a team and created something truly remarkable.

The love, joy, and happiness that fill my heart when I think about the positive impact we have made on our community are overwhelming. Soulsational is not just a physical endeavor; it is also an emotional adventure that brings us closer together. I want to continue to invite each and every one of you to join us on this incredible journey as we strive for greatness and achieve remarkable things together.

The growth and evolution of Soulsational have been a labor of love. We have faced countless obstacles and pushed ourselves to the limit, but every year we emerge stronger and better than ever. Our goal has always been to bring our community together in a free and positive environment, promoting wellness, happiness, and supporting local businesses. Soulsational is a day where practitioners, business owners, and individuals can come together to celebrate life in a noncompetitive and inclusive way.

I firmly believe that each person who attended Soulsational had the opportunity to make a positive impact on someone else's life. The magic of these connections was evident to me, and I am confident that their effects will continue to ripple forward for a lifetime. Moreover, Soulsational continues to give back to our community through initiatives such as filling food pantries, providing school supplies, and creating a unique interactive festival experience for all ages.

We have created a platform for local musicians, poets, wellness souls, and artists to showcase their incredible talents. Soulsational is a one-of-a-kind event that has grown organically from the grassroots. I have never been more determined, committed, and focused on our mission and vision. Together, we have the power to transform this year's successes into even greater achievements. Let's seize new opportunities, pave new paths of positive possibilities, and continue to improve upon what has already worked.

As I reflect on this journey, I am filled with immense gratitude for everything that has brought us to this point. I want you all to know that this journey is hard, very hard. I want to express my deepest thanks to all the Soulsational volunteer team. Despite being a small team, each and every one of you is a lifeline that brings Soulsational to life. I also want to express my gratitude to the Berkeley Township leaders, volunteers, vendors, sponsors, participants, small businesses, musicians, and attendees. Each and every one of you played a crucial role in making Soulsational a success. Your love, kindness, and support have made a lasting impact, and I am truly grateful.

Thank you for being an integral part of ! Thank you for breathing life into this important event! Thank you for spreading love and kindness! Thank you for shining your light! Thank you for coming together, for gifting a part of yourself, and for celebrating as a community! Thank you for getting involved and making a difference! THANK YOU!

As for the future of Soulsational, I am still uncertain. I believe it can be better with more support. The word that comes to mind when I think of Soulsational is "hard." It is physically, emotionally, and financially challenging. I have never raised our prices because I understand and feel the hardships of the economy with you. I want you to be able to provide for your families. However, we are not just a vendor event; we are an interactive event with a stage, and this comes with large expenses. We have made it happen again this year, but it is getting harder, and my volunteer crew is getting smaller.

If there is to be a future for Soulsational, I need support. I will be posting a list of leadership roles that need to be filled in August, and if they are filled by October, we will continue. If not, I will have to put it to rest. Our passion project has the potential to become much bigger than this tiny but very mighty crew that is currently too little for what we have become.

I stand firm in my mission for Soulsational, I remain true to my values and integrity, and I believe in the good that we can do. I am proud of the last 14 years and every single person who has put their sweat into the life of Soulsational.
