The John Callahan Memorial Classic Boat Regatta will be jointly hosted by the John Callahan Memorial Fund and the Bay Head Yacht Club. The Callahan Memorial was organized in memory of John Callahan, who was a longtime member of Bay Head Yacht Club and an enthusiastic yachtsman. The Callahan Fund was established by John’s friends in ap

preciation of his long term commitment to helping others interested in the sport of sailing. There will be an educational sailing seminar in the morning followed by two races on the Metedeconk River. Prizes will be awarded at Bay Head Yacht Club following the last race. Classes include A Cats, Sanderlings, Sneakboxes, Sandpipers and M-Scows.
