It’s June 2nd and here at Apple Creek Farm we are under a frost alert! Weather is a pesky issue on farms like mine when delicate flowers are getting ready or have already been planted in the field. This years delay may have blessings as I am able to better protect them from the frost here by the house than out in the garden. Hopefully all will be in ground Tuesday!

Woohoo.... I am proud of this first trip to market....

Apple Creek Farm & Events will be at the Hubbard Lake Farm Market tomorrow morning!!

While we are still rehabbing the farm field (patience is the virtue I am building with that project) I have successfully planted some lovely flowers and veggies.

Sunflowers, Zinnias, Celosia, Butterfly Plumes and many other blooms will be available.

Sunflowers are popping up already, even though June start I am looking forward to what may be a bumper late summer flower crop.
