2026 Malibu Wakesetter 23 LSV on Gull Lake. Also provided-surf boards, life jackets, tow rope, 1 driver, 1 instructor, bottled water. Fyi: For the 2026, surf season, non-surfing passengers will only be permitted to ride if it’s imperative to accompany your young child for supervision. An additional fee of $10 will be collected at dock prior to boarding for surfers over 5 years old. Additional information:
*Safety first...no alcoholic consumption prior to lesson or while on boat.
*Surf sessions run approximately 20 min/surfer for public lessons. Goguac Lake location rates:
*Public lesson rates for 2026 on Goguac-$70/surfer
*Private party rates for 2026 on Goguac-$185/hour
*Client-owned boats-$100/hour on Goguac
Gull Lake location rates:
*Public lesson rates for 2026 on Gull-$80/surfer (includes $10 fuel surcharge shared among surfers)
*Private party rates for 2026 on Gull-$240/hour (includes $25/hour fuel surcharge)
*Client-owned boats-$125/hour on Gull (includes travel expenses)
*24 hour notice for cancellation(s) is mandatory and greatly appreciated! If 24 hour cancellation notice isn't met, there will be a $70 charge for Goguac surfers, and a $70 charge for Gull surfers. No new lessons will be scheduled until $70 is paid in full...in addition, after "2" no-shows/no-call, payment must be paid in advance to schedule any further lessons. There is no penalty if Coach Kim is contacted within 24 hours of the desired, cancelled lesson.
*Injury Disclaimer form must be completed for 2026 and signed prior to your surf lesson. Parents will have to sign for any minor(s) under 18 years of age.
*Surf’s Up will provide a friendly reminder 48 hours prior to your scheduled lesson/party via Facebook messenger (or group text). Included in the reminder-lesson expectations/pricing/payment options/location/times.
*If a surf lesson needs to be rescheduled due to weather, coach illness, etc, Surf’s Up will do our best to reschedule lesson/party for surfers involved. Other information:
Since space on the boat is limited, first-come, first-serve when scheduling. These lessons are designed for beginner/intermediate surfers. Please avoid bringing food, drinks (unless water) on the boat due to difficulty of cleaning and the bugs left behind that it attracts. Also, eating food can be a distraction for other surfers, and takes away from additional surf learning. If food consumption is necessary for health reasons, please consider healthy foods that won't stain the boat. Food items such as Cheetos, Doritos, chocolate that melts are examples of food that can harm the interior. Bottled water will be provided for you on the boat.
