Episcopal Knights Alumni Bowl

Fellow Knights:

It comes with great sadness that I bring you all this news - due to a lot of unforeseen events (LSU probably making the CFP playoff, Adam needing Knee surgery, and me not being able to come in town the weekend before Christmas because of a surgery I’m having on my ear), the Clausen boys will not be able to host the EHS Alumni Bowl this year.

If anyone would like to take over the reigns for us this year, we’d be more than willing to help out in any way! Also, if anyone wants to just come over to our house and possibly play some football any day after Christmas, we can definitely make that happen.

Simply put, Adam and I don’t have the time and resources this year that we’ve had in the past, but we hope to pick the tradition back up next year! Happy Holidays to everyone and looking forward to making the Alumni Bowl happen next year!

Mark your calendars…as of now the 3rd annual EHS Alumni Bowl will be held on Friday, December 27th (Friday after Christmas). More details to follow later!

The Alumni Bowl is almost here! For those driving - please park on the street tomorrow. The house is on Pikes Lane and you’ll see the yellow field goals in the backyard. If you pass up the “Speed Limit 35” sign, you’ve gone too far. We’ll start up the games at 11 AM. Looking forward to seeing everyone out there tomorrow!

T-Shirts have been ordered! For those playing in the game, it will cost $20. The $20 gets you a t-shirt, 2 guaranteed games, some sort of food (there will be snacks and probably pizza) and beverages (water, gatorade, and 2 kegs will be flowing!).

If anyone would like to purchase a shirt, we will be selling the extras we have available for $10 a piece. If you’d like to reserve shirts, please comment below with the number of shirts you want, color, and size. We only have a limited amount, so I’ll try to accommodate as best as possible!

All payment can be made to TR Clausen through Venmo ( ) or CashApp as well ( $TRClausen ). If you wish to pay the day of the game, please show up with $20 cash (players) or $10 cash (t-shirt only).

For all Players - If you don’t pay, you don’t play. Simple as that! Looking forward to seeing everyone and getting these games rolling here in the next couple of weeks!

IT'S ROSTER TIME!

For all of those that are interested in playing in this years Alumni Bowl, please fill in your personal information on the goolgle doc in the link at the bottom of this post.

PLEASE NOTE: If you do not wish to play but would like to order a t-shirt or order additional t-shirts as christmas presents for family and friends, please fill out the information on the google doc as well (indicate NOT PLAYING if ordering a t-shirt only). I will be using this google doc to place the t-shirt order.

The t-shirts will probably run about $15-$20 dollars each. If you plan on playing in the game, the fee will probably be $20-$25, but the price will include a t-shirt. All of the money made will go towards field setup, snacks, water, and other beverages similar to last year.

The Inagural EHS Alumni Bowl last year over Christmas break was too good of a time not to keep the tradition going, so plans are in the works for Alumni Bowl #2 - start spreading the word and mark your calendars for another afternoon of football over the Christmas holidays this year!
