The 52nd Annual Broadmoor Arts & Crafts Festival! went amazing yesterday, and we just want to say thank you AGAIN from the bottom of our hearts. ❤️
For those who may not know, this festival has been a beloved tradition for 52 years. Back in the day, it filled classrooms, spilled into the courtyard with big white tents, and was truly one of the biggest community events around. Covid changed a lot of that. It took a toll on the school, our vendors, and our community, and the festival became much smaller for a while.
Over the last two years, my mom and I — along with two other incredible wonen— have been working hard behind the scenes to rebuild what we can. We know we can’t recreate exactly what the festival was decades ago, but we are committed to keeping the tradition alive, supporting our vendors, and giving our community a fun and special day to look forward to each year.
And thanks to all of you, we had over 100 vendors these last couple of years! That is something we’re extremely proud of. 🙌💛
We also know there are always a few comments about how things “aren’t like they used to be,” and we understand — the history of this festival is meaningful to a lot of people. It’s meaningful to us too. But please know that this small committee of four is pouring our hearts into making the festival bigger and better every single year.
To everyone who comes out, shops local, supports the school, and loves this tradition as much as we do — thank you!!!! You’re the reason the Broadmoor Arts & Crafts Festival is still here 52 years later, and we can’t wait to keep growing with all of you. 💙✨
If you're a vendor who would like to join us next year, we would absolutely love to have you. And if you love this festival as much as we do and want to help behind the scenes, we’d welcome you with open arms to our little committee. Let’s keep this tradition alive together. 💛
