Bath Fest Bath Fest is an annual Town of Bath event held each May in the historic town of Bath, NC.

With the theme, "Where Art Meets History', the event merges an arts and crafts street fair, a student art show, live music and pirate living history.

The Loose Cannon Company camped on Bonner's Point during Bath Fest and interpreted The Golden Age of Piracy. These photos by Bo Mulcahy are from the page for The Loose Cannon Company/Mr. Willis. The pirates of The Loose Cannon Company are on their way to Bath for Bath Fest to recreate The Golden Age of Piracy on Bonner's Point. On Saturday, from 10:00am -3:00pm, there will be a full day of activities from music at the Bonner House, the street fair with arts and crafts vendors and the Beaufort County 4-H Rabbit and Chicken Show. The weather forecast for Saturday is calling for partly cloudy skies with rain later in the evening.

There will be fun for the whole family at Bath Fest on Saturday, May 9th, from 10:00am to 3:00pm. Arts and crafts vendors will line the streets and the backyard of the Bonner House will have children's activities from the Beaufort Hyde Partnership for Children and pirate balloon cutlasses from Bath Fest. Beaufort County 4-H will have a rabbit and chicken show behind The Carrow House.

Historic Bath at Bonner's Point is normally a great place to bring your dog but before you bring your dog to Bath Fest, please keep in mind there will be a great deal of booming at the pirate camp. The Loose Cannon Company will be firing cannons and small black powder arms in their interpretation of The Golden Age of Piracy.

The main entrance to Bath Fest will be at the 200 block of S. Main Street at the intersection of S. Main and Craven Streets. The streets around Bonner's Point will be closed to traffic. The area church parking lots will be available to Bath Fest visitors.

Shannon Baker & Sometime Soon will make their first visit to Bath Fest and play on the Bonner House front porch stage from 1:30pm-3:00pm. The group will play carefully crafted bluegrass -flavored harmonies with some classic foot stompers. Shannon Baker & Sometime Soon have previously played in Washington at the Long Leaf Pine Variety Show at the Turnage and High Water Social's Brewfest.
