The Eureka Band The Eureka Band is one of the oldest, all-volunteer community bands in the United States. All who play a band instrument are encouraged to join

We play 4 concerts on Fri evenings in Liberty Park in Batesville, IN each summer, and many local festivals.

Your final two opportunities to see the Eureka Band perform for 2025 will be this Sunday, September 21, at 4:00PM at the St. Louis Church Festival in Batesville, IN, and Sunday, September 28, at 2:30PM at the Applefest at Liberty Park in Batesville, IN.

The third 2025 Eureka Band Concert on the Liberty Park bandstand will be this Friday, July 18, beginning at 8PM. Bring your lawn chairs, your favorite beverage, and some cash to support Sweets Ice Cream Shop (operated by New Horizons Rehabilitation), while enjoying this unique slice of Americana with one of the oldest all-volunteer bands right here in Batesville!

The Eureka Band will kick off the 2025 Concert Season with the first of four Friday night concerts on the Bandstand in Liberty Park on Friday, July 4, 2025, beginning at 8PM. This concert will be our traditional patriotic concert, featuring patriotic marches and songs to celebrate our country's birthday.

Sweet's Ice Cream Shop (which benefits New Horizons Rehabilitation) will remain open during all of our Friday night concerts. Bring your lawn chairs, some cash to have a sweet treat during the concert, and come out and enjoy this special piece of Americana!

The other three concerts on the Bandstand at Liberty Park will be July 11, 18, & 25, all beginning at 8PM.

The Eureka Band will have its first rehearsal for the 2025 concert season this coming Monday, May 5, beginning at 7:30pm at The Hall , 624 Delaware Road, Batesville. If you (or anyone you know) plays a band instrument, & would be interested in joining the band, please join us on May 5 at The Hall. Come around to the rear of the building, and enter through the rear doors to The Hall.

Eureka Band Concert #2 of 4 at the Liberty Park Bandstand is tonight (Friday, July 12) beginning at 8PM. Don't forget to bring a lawn chair, as available seating is limited. Sweets Ice Cream Shop will stay open until 9PM, so bring a couple of bucks and treat yourself to an ice cream treat and support New Horizons Rehabilitation!

The first 2024 Eureka Band Concert in Liberty Park, Batesville, will be THIS FRIDAY, JULY 5, BEGINNING AT 8PM. Concert will happen rain or shine, as we will move to the pavilion if the weather is inclement. Don't forget to bring some $$ to support Sweets Ice Cream Shop at Liberty Park while you're there. This concert will be our annual patriotic concert, celebrating Independence Day. Come for the concert, and then head near Hillcrest CC to view the fireworks beginning at dark.

Due to the high heat index today, and the probability of strong storms tonight, the Eureka Band Concert at Versailles for Music on the Square tonight has been cancelled. Working on a re-schedule date. Will publish the new date as soon as it's confirmed.

The Eureka Band will be playing a patriotic concert as a part of Music on the Square in Versailles, IN on Wednesday, July 3 at the Holdsworth Entertainment Pavilion, beginning at 7PM.

It's almost time! The Eureka Band's four annual concerts on the bandstand in Liberty Park begin with our annual patriotic concert on Friday, July 5, beginning at 8PM. As in recent past years, Sweets Ice Cream shop at Liberty Park will remain open until 9PM on the four concert nights, so that you can have some great ice cream, and support New Horizons Rehabilitation.

The remaining concert dates at the Liberty Park bandstand will be July 12, 19, & 26, all beginning at 8PM. We look forward to seeing everyone at Liberty Park on July 5. Come for the concert, then head toward Hillcrest Country Club to watch the fireworks!

The final of 4 free Concerts in Liberty Park will be this Friday, July 28, beginning at 8PM, at the bandstand, next to Sweet's Ice Cream Shop. Thanks again to Sweet's for extending their hours on our 4 concert nights, allowing our patrons to enjoy ice cream treats during the concerts. We will introduce all the Eureka Band members at Friday night's concert, and we've saved several of the most recognizable marches for Friday night's concert. Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy good music provided by the Eureka Band, and bring some $$ to enjoy an ice cream treat from Sweet's Ice Cream Shop (proceeds benefits New Horizons Rehabilitation). Hope to see you Friday night!
