Half Madness 13.1

Half Madness 13.1 Race organizers have put together a rolling course that will bring athletes through historic Batavia, Illinois, and along the Fox River.

Whether you are embarking on your first half marathon, looking for a scenic Fall race, or looking for a great warm-up race for the Chicago, Milwaukee and Twin Cities Marathons, this is the race for you! The course was designed to give first-time half marathoners a less-crowded alternative to other Chicago half marathons while also presenting a serious challenge
for experienced runners looking to

get their feet wet before their main Fall event. All Half Marathon runners will receive:

A technical running shirt

Dear Half Madness Runners,

Due to a variety of circumstances, Half Madness 13.1 will NOT be held in Batavia this fall. After 11 great years, we are no longer able to give the running community an event they deserve. Rising costs and the inability to use residential streets have forced us to be unable to produce a truly unique running experience for our valued customers. We'd like to offer any past runner of Half Madness 13.1 entry into the Sly Fox Half Marathon on April 20th at a discounted rate.
