Calling all singers! Choral rehearsals begin a week from today(Sep. 1st)at 7pm in the Lumberyard Music Hall located at 1109 Main Street.

We are happy to announce that the Bastrop Community Chorus and Orchestra will be reconvening in preparation for a Christmas concert! We are seeking singers and instrumentalists! The Christmas concert will be held Saturday, December 17th, at Ascension Catholic Church, in downtown Bastrop. Rehearsals for the chorus will be Thursdays, 7- 8:30 p.m., starting September 1st. Rehearsals for the orchestra will be on Tuesdays, 7-8:30 p.m., starting September 6th. All rehearsals will be held at the Lumberyard Music Hall, 1109 Main Street, in Bastrop. The first half of the concert will consist of orchestral seasonal favorites and the 2nd half will feature the chorus and orchestra performing John Rutter's setting of the Magnificat, the "Song of Mary." Please call (512) 321-7529 (PLAY) for additional questions. We would be honored to have you join us as we bless the community with our musical gifts this Christmas season!
