This young man did an amazing job singing our National Anthem today at the opening ceremony of the Bassett Heritage Festival 2025.

On behalf of Chief Junior Lynch (Bassett Volunteer Fire Department) and Paul Kennedy (Bassett Funeral Service), we would like to thank both staffs for all their hard work that goes into the festival. We could not do it without each other and every one of you. We would also like to thank Sheriff Wayne Davis (Henry County Sheriff's Office), Trey Harris (Bassett High School), all vendors, antique cars, and all others who took part. It was a great success. Less than one week away!!!! Timeline for the Heritage Festival is as follows:
Bassett Volunteer Fire Department Breakfast 7 am - 11 am.
Opening ceremonies at Bassett Corporate Office 8:45 am
Vendors 9 am - 3 am
Kids games/inflatables 9 am - 3 am
Parade 2 pm-- Contact Bassett Funeral Service or Riverview Florist for details
Please note BVFD will not be doing hot dogs this year due to the breakfast til 11 am. BVFD will still have a bake sale and sell cold drinks up until the parade.
