Dear Santa Sprinters,
We know many of you have been patiently waiting for race weekend updates — bib pick-up, course info, all the usual race-day details. Unfortunately, we have a very different update to share, and it’s one we’ve worked tirelessly to avoid.
It is with deep disappointment that we must announce the cancellation of this year’s Basalt Santa Sprint. This decision did not come lightly and is truly the last thing we ever expected to share.
Why?
Due to unforeseen and uncontrollable customs delays, our shipment of Santa suits has been held with no confirmed release date. And without Santa suits… there can be no Santa Sprint. We’ve exhausted every possible solution, but the timeline is now impossible to overcome.
We are so sorry to deliver this news.
Here’s how we will make it right:
🎁 100% refunds will be issued to all participants within 5–7 business days
🎁 We will still make our planned donation to Holiday Baskets, an amazing local organization we’re proud to support
🎁 All 2024 registrants will receive a significant discount for the 2026 Basalt Santa Sprint
Thank you to the Town of Basalt, Holiday Baskets, Heirlooms, and every participant who brings joy to this event each year. Your understanding means the world to us.
Please stay tuned for additional refund updates.
Wishing you all a warm, happy, and healthy holiday season. ❤️🎅
