Got a story to tell? 🎤 Deadline today!

Barrington is looking for amateur and novice storytellers to share their personal tales for “From Sea to Shining Sea: Road Trip Stories,” a live storytelling event.

Whether your story is funny, serious, thoughtful, or inspirational, if it’s true and under five minutes (and not read from a script), we want to hear it!

The event is presented by the Barrington Cultural Commission and hosted by professional storyteller Megan Wells. It will take place at 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 10 at Barrington's White House.

The submission deadline is 11:59 p.m. tonight, and submitters will be notified by March 9. Submit your story online at barrington-il.gov/storytelling-submission-form.
