What a spook-tacular success this year's BBQ, Blues, and Boos Festival turned out to be! 🎃

We are grateful for each person that attended the BBQ, Blues, and Boos festival this year. We had 757 attendees over the two day festival, with 10% of attendees traveling from 30 miles or more to visit with us. The festival raised $24,730 that went back into the local economy, $12,500 to SC Based Musicians, $8,500 to SC Culinary Artist and BBQ Cook Teams, and $11,456 raised for our work at the Southern Palmetto Chamber & Foundation to support local entrepreneurship! We’re grateful for the opportunity to support the important work happening in Barnwell and throughout South Carolina.

A HUGE and warm thank you to SRP Federal Credit Union, for sponsoring and supporting this event each year!

We would also like to thank all of our additional sponsors, the 14 competitive teams and the 3 local teams that had the whole atmosphere smelling amazing, the 7 bands that brought the heat to the stage, and YOU for coming out! Each of you make this event special each year.

Jackson's 17th Hook and Cook was a fantastic event. Thanks to all who worked so tirelessly to put on a great time. Continue doing what you do next year, great job.
As per Butt Wrestling BBQ, we did ok, not great but good. We finished 6th in Ribs, a far cry from the week before where we were in last, so a lot of improvement this past weekend. Our Butts were just so-so this weekend. Finishing in 9th place wasn't terrible but not where we like to be.
Congratulations to Jeff Lee and his crew of CBF Que for taking 1st in Butts and Phillip Miles and his Tail-Gater Hater team with another 1st in Ribs.
Grand Champion once again goes to Gene & Tesa Culbertson of Backwoods Bar-B-Que. Congratulation also to Papa D's David Graham and Brian Roach from Men at Work getting a call too.
So on to Barnwell this Friday and Saturday. Hope to see you all there. Come on out and say hey.

Blazin' Bullets Barbeque rolled into the 14th Annual Jackson Hook & Cook Festival this past weekend! Tough field of teams, but we pulled 4th in butts with a 16+ and 7th in ribs.

Congrats to Gene Culbertson of Backwoods Bar-B-Que (Grand), Tail-Gater Hater BBQ Sauce (Reserve and 1st in ribs), and Upstate Smokeshop (3rd Runner-Up) and CBF Que (1st in butts)!
