We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of The Honorable John Domalakes. John was a proud member of the Knights of Lithuania Council 144, and lifelong supporter of Lithuanian Days. He was the elder brother to both Paul and Larry Domalakes, and husband to Council President Suzanne Domalakes, all pillars of our organization. Please join us as we commend his soul to God, and celebrate a life filled with profound love for family and Lithuanian heritage.

Council 144 will conduct a traditional funeral ritual Thursday, September 24 at 7pm at St Joseph the Worker Parish, 49 N. Line St., in Frackville during the viewing. The funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday at 11am at the same location.

We are excited to announce that Linos Lithuanian Foods will be taking over hot food offerings this year! Here’s the (delicious) line up:

5. Čeburėkai ( deep fried meat pastry ),
6. Kibinai ( minced meat pastry ),
7. Cruble cake with Strawberries jam,
8. Lazy Cake ( cookie crumble cake with chocolate filling ),
9. Fried Bread sticks with garlic.
