Look who’s coming to Pine State Expo!

Please welcome Johnny Yong Bosch to the 2026 Pine State Expo!

📅 April 24–26, 2026
📍 Brick South at Thompson’s Point – Portland, Maine

Johnny will be appearing all three days for autographs, selfies, and panels!

Johnny Yong Bosch first burst onto the scene as Adam Park, the Black Ranger, Green Zeo Ranger, and Green Turbo Ranger on Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. He portrayed the fan-favorite character for three and a half seasons, appeared in two feature films, and has made special appearances in later Power Rangers series including Power Rangers: Once & Always.

Following his time as a Ranger, Johnny became one of the most recognizable voices in anime and gaming. His breakout voice acting role was Vash the Stampede in Trigun, and he has since voiced countless iconic characters including Ichigo Kurosaki in Bleach, Lelouch Lamperouge in Code Geass, Kaneda in Akira, Sasori in Naruto, Giyu Tomioka in Demon Slayer, Kiba in Wolf’s Rain, Renton in Eureka Seven, Jonathan Joestar in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, Sabo in One Piece, and Nine in My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising.

Johnny has also made a huge impact in the world of video games, voicing characters such as Nero in Devil May Cry 4 & 5, Yu Narukami and Adachi in Persona 4, Firion in Final Fantasy Dissidia, Guy Cecil in Tales of the Abyss, Kung Jin in Mortal Kombat X, Yang in Street Fighter IV, Bumblebee in Transformers: War for Cybertron, and Iron Fist in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3.

Upcoming projects include Gabriel in Gabriel and the Guardians and Dante in Adi Shankar’s upcoming Devil May Cry Netflix adaptation.

In addition to acting, Johnny is also a singer-songwriter. He previously fronted the band Eyeshine and is currently performing with his latest music project, Where Giants Fall.

Thanks again to everyone who came out this past weekend and made Bangor Anime 2026 an absolute blast! In case you missed them, we ended our panels with these wonderful group photos that many of you have been asking for. See you next year!

Good morning!

As we get ready for the final day of Bangor Anime, we have to start the day by sharing some news with you all. We spent most of the evening and late into the night working with guests and agents to navigate the storm that New England is about to be hit by. As of yesterday afternoon, a number of flights that guests were set to be on were already canceling. We were able to move some around, but those were also hit with cancellation after cancellation. Due to work schedules and family matters, some guests and us had to make the decision to fly out on one of the only available flights this morning or be stranded here until Tuesday or Wednesday. With that said, a number had no choice but to grab the flight this morning and won’t be able to be at the con today. The following guests will no longer be attending today:

Elizabeth Maxwell
David Matranga
Alex Organ

But the rest of the guests are still here and will be all day, so come out and make the most of the final day of Bangor Anime!
