As the first official port of the national Sail250® journey, New Orleans will welcome tall ships, maritime traditions, and waterfront festivities as America prepares to celebrate its 250th anniversary.

We’re excited to follow the voyage from port to port before Sail250® Maryland & Airshow Baltimore presented by Northrop Grumman arrives in Baltimore in June 2026.

⚓✈️ Planning to watch the airshow from the water during Sail250® Maryland & Airshow Baltimore presented by Northrop Grumman? Here’s what you need to know.

Spectators are welcome to enjoy the airshow from private boats or approved passenger vessels — but all boaters MUST remain outside of the designated AIRBOX shown in BLUE on the map graphic.

🚨 The AIRBOX is a federally regulated safety zone that must remain completely clear of vessel traffic during airshow performances.
🚤 The area will be patrolled by the U.S. Coast Guard and law enforcement vessels.
🔵 Large inflatable buoys will mark the boundaries.
🟢 Areas shown in GREEN are reserved for authorized passenger-carrying vessels only.
