The Baltimore Convention Center is the premier location in the Mid-Atlantic for organizations to host conventions, meeting, luncheons and other activities large and small. The four level Center boasts seven exhibition halls providing a total of 300,000 square feet, 50 meeting rooms with a total of 85,000 square feet

and the largest ballroom in the state of Maryland, totaling over 36,000 square feet. The Center is conveniently located off of Interstates 83 and 295 in the revitalized downtown area and is surrounded by several major hotels and tourist attractions all within walking distance.

Day 3 and that’s a wrap! 🎉

We’re closing out Super Regional at the Baltimore Convention Center by highlighting a few standout moments!

Attendees were inspired by Jameel McClain — former Baltimore Ravens linebacker and founder of the who shared a powerful message on perseverance and growth.

Our Executive Director, welcomed guests with a fun Charm City pop quiz, while local historian and tour guide brought Baltimore’s rich history and culture to life.

A special thank you to Deputy Director Phil Costa for helping lead the planning and ex*****on of this event, bringing it all together seamlessly. We were also honored to welcome Deputy Mayor Calvin Young, who shared how events like this drive momentum for the city and warmly welcomed our attendees.

At the BCC, connecting clients to Baltimore’s authentic spirit and Maryland’s traditions is at the heart of what we do — from storytelling to hands-on experiences like learning how to crack crabs with a dash of Old Bay seasoning.

We’re ending the evening with a final reception, reflecting on an incredible event that brought value not only to our industry peers, but to our community!

Today marked the kickoff of Super Regional here in Charm City, bringing venue professionals from across the country together for networking, collaboration, and educational sessions.

Our Executive Director, , CVE, participated in a featured panel alongside of the Reginald F. Lewis Museum, of The Hippodrome, and of the Baltimore Orioles. Together, they discussed how leaders can build successful organizations while creating workplaces where employees feel welcomed, valued, and a true sense of belonging. The discussion was moderated by respected former Visit Baltimore President & CEO , who also shared his valuable insight and expertise.

Happy Earth Day from the Baltimore Convention Center! 🌎

Today is one of our favorite days to celebrate, as we share our annual Social Responsibility & Sustainability Report, highlighting the initiatives and impact we’ve made over the past year.

In 2025, the BCC diverted more than 277 tons of materials back into the local community—one of our highest diversion totals yet. We also achieved Gold-level certification through the Events Industry Council’s Sustainable Event Standards, expanded accessibility efforts with our ADA Coordinator earning certification through the ADA National Network, and welcomed our first-ever Sustainability Fellow to the team, and that’s just the beginning!

The Baltimore Convention Center was proud to host and serve as a sponsor of the Downtown Partnership of Baltimore’s State of Downtown Breakfast, bringing together leaders from across the region to reflect on the city’s progress and future.

Executive Director, Mac Campbell gave welcome remarks and emphasized the importance of continuing to unite as a city in order to drive meaningful progress. Attendees heard from President of Downtown Partnership of Baltimore, Shelonda Stokes, Lieutenant Governor Aruna K. Miller, Senate President Bill Ferguson, and Mayor Brandon M. Scott, who shared insights on Baltimore’s growth in 2025—from infrastructure and economic development to continued reductions in crime.
The event featured a panel of economic development leaders who discussed strategies and best practices that have driven success in other cities and how they can be applied here in Baltimore.

The Baltimore Convention Center is proud to announce that former Sales & Services Coordinator, Jordan Bennett, has been promoted to Sales Manager. Over the past four years, Jordan has demonstrated tremendous growth, dedication, and a strong commitment to both our clients and the organization. In her new role, she will work with clients across the Social, Military, Educational, Religious, and Fraternal (SMERF) markets, bringing a dynamic range of events to Charm City. Jordan holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and a master’s degree in Sports Management, along with a strong background in customer service and event planning. As a Baltimore native, she is excited to continue supporting the growth of travel and tourism in downtown.

Today, the BCC is excited to welcome the Mid-Atlantic Nursery Trade Show (MANTS) back to Charm City for its 46th year! Executive Director Mac Campbell, CVE, alongside Deputy Mayor Calvin Young, officially kicked off the show by welcoming attendees and presenting a Mayoral Citation recognizing MANTS’ positive impact on Baltimore City—especially through its sustainability initiatives.

Each year, MANTS brings thousands of visitors to Baltimore and proudly participates in the BCC’s Diversion by Donation Program. At the conclusion of the show, exhibitors donate unwanted trees, plants, and materials, giving back to local nonprofits including Baltimore Tree Trust, Baltimore ToolBank, Second Chance, and more.

We’re glad to have MANTS back and look forward to everything this year’s event has to offer! 🌱
