One of the many reasons to come support Fire Departments in any fundraisers.... most volunteer departments sit with about 25 x the cost of this outfit and that is just to protect the fire fighter, departments have limited funds to work with each year to include truck & equipment maintenance etc. Any fundraising helps cover cost of other things. Anything helps and no one ever thinks how important these small things are until you have to rely on the Fire Department/ First Responders in a time of need. Every other Monday the Pine River Fire Department holds a meat Raffle at the Damsite, Backus Fire Department holds theirs every other Tuesday out at the Long Pine Store. We appreciate everyone that comes out to support our Departments. Please feel free to help spread the word, share this post or any posts you see for Fundraising... This Monday 6pm at the Damsite . Come win some meat and have some fun!!
