In case you did not see this in the Babylon Beacon Newspaper the other day, here is the nice write up they printed about the Kite Festival.

"Go Fly a Kite Over Babylon" will take place on Sat., April 20 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Robert Moses State Park, Field Four.

Sponsored by the North Babylon Chamber of Commerce, the Town of Babylon and the New York State Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation, this event is for the entire family. There is no admission or parking fee. "Ihe rain date is set for Sat., April 27.
The event will feature Kurtis Jones and his Wind Wolves. Jones is a Regional Il Director of the American Kite Association and he will put on professional kite demonstrations, hold candy drops and have his giant bubble maker.
The chamber will have kites for sale, or you can bring your own. beach will have three zones including the professional kite flyer and his team, adult free fly and children free fly. 'There will also be a STEM/STEAM kite competition among the school districts of the Town of Babylon.
In addition, there will also be over 50 merchandise vendors, food trucks, live music and various other stage events.
Robert Moses State Park is located via the Robert Moses Causeway in Babylon.
