The backpacks are coming out. Calendars are filling up. Labor Day is just around the corner. And yes... it’s hotter than we’d like to admit.

But before summer slips away, there’s still time for one more Hill Country weekend.

The patios are pouring chilled Texas whites and light reds, and golden hour still makes you forget it’s 100 degrees.

So, consider this your permission slip to squeeze every last drop out of summer. Take the scenic route. Stay for one more glass. Watch the sunset over the vines.

Our Texas wine community has been dealt another heartbreaking blow.

After spring frosts decimated vineyards, catastrophic flooding in the Hill Country is now impacting wineries, vineyards, and families, particularly those near the Pedernales River.

If you’ve ever enjoyed a Texas wine, now is the time to give back.
🍷 Buy a bottle.
🍷 Visit a winery.
🍷 Order Texas wine when you’re out.
🍷 Tell someone why Texas wine deserves a place at the table.

Supporting local isn’t just a slogan. It’s one of the most tangible ways we can help the people who have poured their hearts into this industry.

🚨 Big news from London. 🚨
No, England still hasn’t won the World Cup. ⚽️

But Texas wine just had a pretty spectacular day at the Decanter World Wine Awards, with Adega Vinho, Spicewood Vineyards, Ab Astris, and Turtle Creek all taking home Gold medals. 🏅🍷

The world is finally waking up to what we’ve known all along!

Congratulations to these producers and to all of the Texas wineries recognized in this year’s awards.

This is exactly why we created Austin Wine Week: to champion Texas winemakers, build community, and get more people drinking local.

So go visit a winery. Buy a bottle. Tell your friends. Support Texas.

🍷 I can’t believe it’s already been a month since Austin Wine Week wrapped.

What started as an idea became a week of incredible Texas wine, amazing people, packed events, and hundreds of attendees showing up to support our wineries and the hospitality community.

A huge thank you to our sponsors, partners, winemakers, chefs, vendors, volunteers, DJ Jonah, Wanderlust, and everyone who helped make our inaugural year such a success.

And because everyone keeps asking... we’re not done yet. More events, collaborations, and surprises are coming soon, and next year’s dates will be announced before you know it.
