To every single one of you who pulled up this morning — thank you. The lot was full, the cars were unreal, and Lake Travis did its thing.
Together this morning, this community showed up for the students of Rosedale School, and it's going to mean a lot to a lot of kids.

It's here. ☀️
Octane at the Oasis — TODAY. 8–11 AM. The Oasis on Lake Travis.
But before the engines, before the coffee, before the sunrise — happy Mother's Day to every mom out there. 💐
The ones who said yes to the first car. The ones who said no to the second one and were right. The ones who learned the difference between a wrench and a socket because they had to. The ones who packed snacks for car shows. The ones who pretended to care about the dyno numbers. The ones who taught us how to drive, how to take care of what we own, and how to show up for the people we love.
Every car in our parking lot today exists because some mom, somewhere, raised the person driving it.
So today — whether you're at the meet, at brunch, on the phone, or remembering one — we're thinking about you.

Mother's Day morning. Sunny skies. 70s through the meet. The lake doing its thing. This is the one.
Whatever you're driving — bring it. The classic, the daily, the one you just finished, the one she keeps telling you to sell. All cars welcome, all morning long.
And bring the moms in your life. The ones who tolerated the garage time, the parts orders, the "just one more project." Bring them out for a sunrise, a coffee, and a few hundred cars that wouldn't exist without their patience.
Or, bring the kids and let Mom sleep in for 3 hours. ☕

Bring Mom. Bring the car she helped you fall in love with. Bring the one she said you didn't need but co-signed for anyway. Bring the kids. Bring the dog. We'll be done by 11 — plenty of time to get her to brunch before it heats up.

Every second Sunday, they hand over their lot, their sunrise, and one of the best lake views in Central Texas to a few hundred car people and ask for nothing in return. That's not a small thing. Most venues would never. The Oasis says "pull up."
So while you're out there Sunday — return the favor. ☕
The Oasis has coffee on, restrooms open, and some of the best lake views in town just steps from where your car is parked. Grab a cup, take in the view, and show some love to the team that lets us do this every month.

May the Fourth be with you, Austin.
Whether you roll up in something that hums like a TIE Fighter, growls like a Wookiee, or glides in quiet as a Jedi — there's a parking spot waiting for you Sunday at The Oasis on Lake Travis.
A long time ago, in a parking lot not so far away... 200+ cars showed up, sunrise broke over the water, and $10 from every entry went to a cause that mattered. We're doing it again May 10.
This month's mission: support the Rosedale Foundation and the students of Rosedale School. Your $10 = their adaptive equipment, sensory programs, and learning support. The Republic thanks you.
