We are VERY excited to announce that the 2016 Hill Country Strongman Classic, part of the Naturally Fit Games in Austin, TX, will play host to the 2016 North American Strongman Teen Nationals!!

This means that our teen divisions will include NAS Teen Nationals. We can't wait to welcome all these great athletes to the !

Hey athletes!

We wanted to thank everybody for their responses on the survey. They were very informative and rest assured, your insight will help make the 2016 Hill Country Strongman Classic even better! YES, it'll be over MUCH FASTER in 2016.

We're hard at work planning out next year's event, and already have a date: June 25th, 2016, as part of the Naturally Fit Games. Same venue, the Austin Convention Center.

We've listened to your feedback, and will be making a competition which is both challenging AND fun. In an effort to speed things up, we're structuring the competition so each division cluster can rotate through four of the five events, thus eliminating excessive downtime. We will have five events total, and the keg toss WILL be returning, although instead of max height, it'll be WSM-style, eight kegs of increasing weight over a static bar.

As of now, there'll be Keg Toss, a Deadlift event, a truck push/pull medley (a PRISM Strongman specialty), and an Atlas Stone ladder as the final event. We're finalizing the fifth event. Best of all, each of the first four events will have FOUR LANES, with the Atlas Stone ladder offering a head-to-head format.

Additionally, there WILL be an open novice division for both men and women.

We here at PRISM truly enjoyed putting on this year's event, and know that it'll be a staple of the Texas strongman calendar. So mark down the date and circle it, because this year's going to be even bigger. Training starts today!
