After close to 20 months of planning, we finally got the chance to share our vision with all of you this past weekend in Austin, and it was everything we hoped for and more. To the staff, the venue and all the amazing artists and vendors, we offer a heartfelt "Thank you" to everyone involved for making this such a memorable event. The room was full of wonderful energy, and people were connecting. This was the vision we had when we started and you all helped to bring it to life.
We must point out the members of the staff that made this event run so smoothly for everyone, and without them, the show would not have been what it was. First off, we couldn't have done it all without Tara Robinson and caity taylor running the front of house. They made registration run so smoothly and they were our liasons throughout the whole weekend. If you attended the show, you dealt with each of them in some way throughout. Tiernan Cranny and Under Our Skin Podcast - Keith brought their a/v expertise and helped to make sure the music and stage side of the event ran smoothly. Even when we had issues, they found a solution that worked. We brought in our secret weapons Valentina Cuadros Bruno Araujo and Jon leverock who helped everywhere they could. They ran the counter, helped with setup, breakdown, ran for supplies, and honestly anything they could to help. What an amazing crew!
There are so many more people that we need to thank though. Thank you DANIELS BAUTI for the artwork that set the background of the show. Adam Barnett took amazing video all weekend and caught all the smiles. Dante Dellamore was brilliant in his camera work and fully captured the story that was the Austin Tattoo Invitational. 5th Avenue Studio Supply ran the smoothest stencil booth I've ever experienced at a show of this size. Thanks to Mindzai Creative for the killer artist badges and printing the bracelets and pins, which were a hit. There are more but too many to list!
Lastly, thank you to all the amazing artists and vendors that allowed us to do this for you. This was for the tattoo community and we appreciate your support.
