Gathering of the artist

One month from today the "Gathering of the artist" Festival in Austin, PA will cap off their first day with a screening of NEPADOC - the film will be projected on to the ruins of the Austin Dam!

This looks to be the most unique screening of the film thus far, and we are honored to be included in this year's program. The town of Austin was largely wiped out when this dam broke in 1911, and the park, which is on the National Register of Historic Places, honors that story and the victims of that tragedy.

This will be an outdoor/evening screening on July 25th at 9pm, and will be preceded by an open mic event that starts at 6:30pm. Come spend an evening under the stars in beautiful Potter County, PA!

With the gathering event only 15 day's away. It's a good time to reflect over the progression of the gathering event over the years. No one person can ever do better than a team of people working twords one goal. Andy Dotzel and Mike Whitney joined the team in 2021. Together they elevated the event into one amazing musical experience. Digging Root's and woodshed Profits have become the corner stones of the gathering event. Together with event coordinator's Shawn Ahearn and Chris Ross the gathering event gets better every year. This year's added additions of local and state sponsors will elevate the gathering event even more. Annual chainsaw carver Jeffrey Donahue and the Hooskow carvers bring a added eliminate of entertainment to the gathering event. Nationally known in world renowned chainsaw carver's really help to elevate any event. This year's event is going to be the best year so far. With great music, amazing artists and the return of Woolf Pack Production's you won't want to miss this year's event.
